Painted Poppies

This card was created using the Painted Poppies Stampset from the 2021-2022 Annual catalog and the Special Moments Stampset from the Sale-a-Bration Jan-Feb 2022 catalog.

Painted Poppies Stampset

Paper:

• Basic White Cardstock
• Basic White Thick Cardstock
• Old Olive Cardstock

Ink:

• Old Olive Light Stampin’ Blend Markers
• Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blend Markers
• Memento Tuxedo Black Stamp Pad

Accessories:

• Pearls Basic Jewels colored with Old Olive Dark Stampin’ Blend Marker
• Linen Thread

Tools:

• Brick and Mortar 3D Embossing Folder
• Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine
• Bone Folder
• Simply Scored Scoring Tool

Other Supplies:

• Stampin’ Dimensionals
• Stampin’ Seal

Cardstock:

• Basic White Thick Cardstock cut to 8 ½” x 5 ½”
• Basic White Ca5 ½” x 4 ¼”, and 4” x 3 ¼” 
• Old Olive Cardstock cut to 4 ¼” x 3 ½”

Card Base: 

1. Score the Basic White Thick cardstock at 4 ¼” (card will open from bottom). 
2. Emboss the 5 1/2” x 4 1/4” Basic White Cardstock using the Brick and Mortar 3D Embossing Foldler
3. Attach to the Basic White Thick card base using Stampin’ Seal. 

Card Front:

1. Stamp the 4” x 3 ¼” piece of Basic White Cardstock with the Poppy Patch Stamp from the Painted Poppies Stampset and Memento Tuxedo Black Stamp Pad. 
2. Using the Old Olive Light Stampin’ Blend Marker, color the poppy stems. 
3. Using the Poppy Parade Light and Dark Stampin’ Blend Markers to color flowers. 
4. Using the “Thanks” stamp from the Special Moments Stampset and Memento Tuxedo Black Stamp Pad stamp the sentiment.

Assembly:

1. Attach stamped image to the 4 ¼” x 3 ½” piece of Old Olive Card Stock using Stampin’ Seal
2. Wrap Linen Thread around stamped image layer 3 times and tie a bow. Trim ends of thread.
3. Color 3 Pearls Basic Jewels with the Old Olive Dark Stampin’ Blend Marker and allow to dry completely before adding to card.
4. Using Stampin’ Dimensionals attach stamped and embellished layer to the center of the card front.
