Tulip Fields Birthday
This card was created using the Tulip Fields Bundle and the Flowering Tulips Stampset (Which also comes in a bundle) from the January – June 2022 Mini Catalog.
This is project is for avid stampers, even then I would recommend practicing stamping on printer paper until you get the stamping process down.

Card Base:
Score the So Saffron cardstock at 4 ¼”.
Card Front:
- Using the Tulip Fields Stampset, stamp rows of flowers onto 5” x 3 3/4” piece of Basic White Cardstock in So Saffron, Flirty Flamingo, and Highland Heather Classic. There are two stamps to accomplish this - one for the horizon, and one for additional flower rows. As mentioned earlier I would recommend practicing stamping on printer paper until you get the stamping process down and you are satisfied with the results.
- Using Post-It Removable Labeling Tape 695, mask off the flower rows at the horizon.
- Using a blending Brush, blend Pool Party onto the portion that makes up the sky until you have the desired color.
- Using Post-It Removable Labeling Tape 695, mask off the flower rows so that the white space between them can be colored with a sponge dauber to look like dirt.
- Color the white space between the rows of flowers with a sponge dauber and Crumb Cake.
- Stamp the windmill onto the 2” x 2” piece of Basic White Cardstock in Crumb Cake, then using a sponge dauber lightly blend on Crumb Cake. I softened this up by running over it with a Water Painter.
- Stamp the 3 ¾” x 1 ¼” piece of Classic White Cardstock in Old Olive with the Birthday Sentiment from the Flowering Tulips Stampset.
- Stamp the Tree onto the 1 ¾” x 1 ½” piece of Basic White Cardstock in Old Olive.
- Stamp the clouds in Pool Party Classic Stampin’ Pad onto a scrap piece of Basic White cardstock.
- Stamp the small bushes in Pear Pizazz onto a scrap piece of Basic White Cardstock.
- Cut out Windmill, Clouds, and small bushes using the Tulip Fields Die Set.
- Cut the tulip border 2 times from the 3 ¼” x 1 ½” of So Saffron Cardstock.
Assembly:
- Attach the 5 ¼” x 4” piece of Flirty Flamingo Cardstock to the So Saffton card base using Stampin’ Seal.
- Attach the 5” x 3 3/4” stamped image to the Flirty Flamingo Cardstock using Stampin’ Seal.
- Attach the Sentiment to the stamped image using Stampin’ Seal.
- Attach the clouds, tree, and the left bush as shown in picture using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
- Attach the right bush just below the tree using a Mini Stampin’ Dimensional.
- Attach the Windmill as shown using Stampin’ Dimensionals. It is ok to partially cover one of the clouds.
- Attach the Tulip Border to the top and bottom of the birthday sentiment using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
- Attach Brushed Brass Butterflies to the sentiment.
- Attach a 5 ¼” x 4” piece of Basic White Cardstock to the inside of the card using Stampin' Seal.
